NIKKI WHITE

DANCER, TEACHER & CHOREOGRAPHER, STAND UP COMEDIAN, CHILDREN’S BOOK AUTHOR, ACTRESS, VIDEO BLOGGER

Nikki is a Montana Native who grew up dancing and teaching alongside her Mom at her studio, Diane’s Danceworks in Helena, Montana. She trained on full scholarship at Pacific Northwest Ballet, National Ballet School of Canada, and Lines Ballet/SF before becoming a principal dancer with professional ballet companies Smuin Ballet, Oakland Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, Amy Seiwert’s Imagery and Diablo Ballet for 10+ years. She toured extensively and performed repertoire by choreographers Eliot Feld, Michael Smuin, Septime Webre, Amy Seiwert, Alonzo King, Trey McIntyre, and Twyla Tharp before embarking on her own choreographic and performance career with her husband Ethan.

Since moving to LA she has written a successful Children’s Book- Prima the Ballerina, created a video blog- Ask a Ballerina, and has discovered her acting and comedic chops in TV, commercials, music videos, an all girls improv group, sketch writing and stand up comedy. She has performed at The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, The World Famous Comedy Store, M.I.’s Westide Comedy Theatre, and The HaHa Cafe and she created the show ‘Vaudeville!’, a Variety show with some of L.A.’s best artists including (but not limited to) comedians, singers, dancers, musicians, storytellers, mimes, characters, burlesque performers, magicians, and sketches.
